SLAVIC & EURASIAN STUDIESCourse Description
This course is a continuation of Polish 102 or the equivalent. The objective of this class is to further build the student’s vocabulary essential for real-life situations, including renting an apartment or visiting a doctor in Poland, and expressing one’s opinions on familiar topics related to culture and history. Aside from building vocabulary, the primary focus will be on reading and perfecting pronunciation through guided and spontaneous conversation. In addition to continued language learning, students are introduced to Polish literature and culture through film, music, and video presentations.
